Terms of Service

Grant Sweep (“the service”) aggregates publicly available research funding opportunities — from federal APIs, state portals, and manually curated funder pages — into one searchable place. It is free to use. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Listings are collected and classified automatically or curated by hand from public sources, and any of them can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Deadlines, award amounts, eligibility, and program status must be confirmed on the funder’s own site before you rely on them. Nothing here is professional, legal, or financial advice, and nothing here is a promise that any funding exists or that you qualify for it.

The service is not affiliated with, and does not speak for, any funder listed — federal agencies, state programs, foundations, nonprofits, or companies. This product uses the Grants.gov API but is not endorsed or certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Funder names and program titles appear only to identify the opportunities they publish.

Don’t abuse the service: no automated access at a volume that degrades it for others, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, and no misrepresenting its data as authoritative or as endorsed by a funder. Underlying U.S. government works are public domain; the service’s own compilation, curation, classification, and presentation belong to us. You are welcome to link to any page.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including missed deadlines or decisions made in reliance on a listing.

The service is under active development; features and data sources may change or be discontinued at any time. We may update these terms — material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
